Gerard has been in the financial industry for over 18 years in Mortgage, Health, Life Insurance, College Planning and Asset Protection. As a Certified College Funding Specialist, he thrives working with students and parents on college planning - getting the best college for the lowest price and helping them implement different strategies to pay for college. The biggest financial challenge most families face is paying for their children's education without killing their retirement.
Gerard also focuses on protecting clients from having all the risk of getting sick, running out of money or dying sooner than expected
and protecting what you have and at the same time preparing for future healthcare costs, taxes and unexpected financial costs.
Gerard was born and raised in Morris Plains, NJ. Graduating from Morristown High School in 1986, taking some classes at CCM for 1 year and enlisted in the US Marines shortly after. His mom, 2 sisters and a brother and many family members live in theTri-State area. Working with and meeting new people is part of his passion. Gerard's a NY Giants Fan.
Gerard is a disabled veteran, serving in the U.S. Marines. He graduated from boot camp in Parris Island, S.C. and was stationed in Camp Pendleton, California and Okinawa, Japan, including multiple deployments. He was honorably discharged from the Marines in 1997. The military gave him the structure, discipline and drive to accomplish anything.
